JEFound Director to Speak at 3 Accreditation Hearings Dec 4-6, 2006

The U.S. Department of Education, Office of Postsecondary Education, National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity will be holding accreditation hearings December 4-6, 2006. William S. Scott, J.D., Director of JEFound, is scheduled to speak at the following accreditation hearings:

(1) The American Bar Association on Monday, December 4, 2006, between 1:45 pm and 5:30 pm.

(2) The Association for Biblical Higher Education on Tuesday, December 5, 2006, between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm.

(3) The Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. on Wednesday, December 6, 2006, between 8:30 am and 9:30 am.

Re: Follow-up to your November 13 University of Miami Speech

Dear Justice Roberts,

A proceeding before the US Department of Education will take place on December 4, 2006, at 1:45 pm to question the right of the American Bar Association to accredit law schools.

We were originally motivated to make a presentation because of the lack of pre-law courses to train lawyers. As we conducted our research, we found other issues worthy of consideration that we presented in a formal opposition and request to make an oral presentation that are posted to the above cited website.

Albert Einstein believed the educational system is the first line of defense to tyranny. Without separation of Islam from the Constitutions of the governments of the Middle East, there is no hope for Democracy as we know it. It was no accident that gunmen kidnapped occupants from the Higher Education Ministry in Iraq yesterday. If peace is to come, it will be through formal education. Please would you allocate some of your time to the improvement of the legal education system?
